A weighty problem

puppy has been dealing with being overweight since he was in his 20s.  The last time he was around 250 lbs was probably about 30 years ago.  Ideally, he should be around 100 lbs lighter, but that has always been a distant goal.  He has a genetic hormonal imbalance that for whatever reason fights tooth and nail to keep the weight on; but of course that’s not the only situation.  puppy really doesn’t have a very good diet.  puppy actually can cook, he just doesn’t always have the proper motivation to, adding in the fact that he has a limited amount of teeth, and it limits the recipes that are viable.  Not having molars can be a bit of a problem.

One of the other problems is not having enough to occupy his time on days off.  When puppy is idle, he tends to eat, and then overeat, and that has a detrimental effect on his weight.  So keeping busy is another goal for puppy to accomplish.
