Holidailies? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot??
- Weight: 281 (or higher, just got back from Bob Evans)
- BP: 128/74 (Should be higher, just had a lot of carbs from…Bob Evans)
Your boy is doing something that he’s thought about doing for years past, when he had his LiveJournal blog. (Still has the blog, just hasn’t updated it in eons) Every December for the past 16 (Now 17) years, this little website called ‘Holidailies‘ gathers people and the premise is to blog once (or more) a day for the whole month of December. People read, discover new blogs to read, celebrate, and so on. Your boy has known about the whole thing for at least 15 of those years, but has never gotten the gumption to do it himself.
Until, this year.
With the advent of his ‘new’ journal, your boy thought he’d give it a whirl. Add it to the plethora of things that he’s doing, both for you and for himself, and see where things go. If anything, it’s a way to get out there a little more, read some interesting blogs, and have some read him as well. Why not, right? Isn’t that what the Internet was supposed to be about from the very beginning? Sharing, and surviving nuclear war should it occur. Of course now, if nukes did happen to fall, electricity would fail and people would be globally offline for the most part, not to mention wanton destruction and all…but your boy is getting off the tangent here.
Generally the first blog post is about the person, about the blog and so on. boy could expound on that to the exclusion of all else, but boy will just direct the new reader to his About page up yonder, and they can read that bit of a blurb and find out about a boy as the month wears on. Or go back a little in the Archives and read there. Why do all the work for the reader? Curiosity it’s been said KO’d the feline. Be a bit curious, dear reader. Thank you.
Anyhoo. This is what your boy is going to be attempting to do this month in addition to all of his other activities, Miss. Hope that you enjoy reading what your boy is going to be coming up with, along with the normal things that you’ve been coming to read from your boy. It’s going to be an interesting month. He hopes!
This is a Holidailies post.
